With this post begins a new feature, Dining with Fido....reviewing and commenting, and hoping you comment as well - on restaurants and bars that allow canine clientele.

If I told you the story of how dog friendly dining on patios and sidewalk cafes at restaurants and bars officially became legal in Chicago - that would be a blog post unto itself. But I was Very much involved, and proud of that. So, today, if restaurants/bars so desire, they can get a license to allow dogs (to sit outdoors).

The first restaurant featured is The Dock: At Montrose Beach, 200 W. Montrose Harbor Drive (at the Lake). (If you have restaurants you want me to cover, just let me know)
