I'm up north and having a great time fishing the Wildcat Chain in Boulder Junction.

Jeff Novak and his son Joe and I have fished Big Kitten, Little Kitten, and Wildcat Lakes and have been enjoying a week of nice weather and fishing.

Below is a slide show of a number of the fish that we caught.  There are more to come.  On one day, Joe took his mom Jan and my wife Judy fishing and they had a great time catching largemouth bass and rock bass.  Photos to come on that...

We're staying at the Wildcat Lodge.  What a great place for a family fishing vacation. It's a great destination that is about 6.5 hours from the south suburbs of Chicago. For more information about the Wildcat Lodge, visit www.WildcatLodge.net .  The cabins are on Big and Little Kitten Lakes and along with Wildcat, all three are Class A muskie lakes.   But as you can see, the bass fishing is not that bad either.  The lakes also have nice sized walleyes.

Being only minutes out of the town of Boulder Junction, you have all the necessary shopping locations and a variety of country stores to visit.

There will be more to come on my trip to Wildcat Lodge and Boulder Junction.  For now, enjoy the photos.
