So you go out with a guy for a few months, end it and for some reason he keeps popping his head back in.  You give him another chance and again...ABRUPTLY ends it!  A couple weeks later, POPS BACK IN!  What do you do with one of these blood sucking lurkers?  I say, screw it.  Tell that ASS to disappear for good.  You give yourself these lame duck excuses like, maybe he is afraid of commitment, maybe he is freaked out by how good we are and he isn't ready to settle down.  No.  He is ready, he isn't freaked out and he isn't afraid of commitment....he just doesn't want one with you.  He keeps you at arms length and comes back and forth because you are dependable, available and forgiving.  He would drop you like a hot potato if someone else came along.  Now, I know I sound harsh but this is the deal.  You are better than that!  He isn't good enough for you!  You deserve someone who KNOWS that his search is over.

Oh, so you need closure?  That last text message that said, "I am not ready for this" should be perfect.  I think if I was involved in this vicious cycle, those words above would be enough for me.  Why would you just want to put yourself through this over and over and over again?  If it happens once, shame on him.  Twice shame on you.  In these situations, I would tell him at the third attempt... "3 times the charm, and I AM DONE WITH YOU ASSHOLE!"  You know after the first date if you like someone or not, he knows it is NOT.

So, in closing (since clearly closure is what the majority needs) move the hell on.  You will feel good about it.  Quit beating the dead horse, pack it up because there is nothing left to see here.

XOXO
