Beane, Cashman, Friedman, Colletti available for Cubs?

Ken Rosenthal wonders if Billy Beane may want to get out of Oakland and speculates about an opening in Chicago.

Beane, he points out is loyal to Oakland ownership and even has a small share in the club. I don't see it happening because of those ties.

Rosenthal also mentions Brian Cashman as possibly being available. The Rays Andrew Friedman is not under contract for next season. Imagine what he could do with even a $100 million dollar payroll.

Then there is Rick Hahn of the White Sox, assistant to Kenny Williams.

Hahn could be a no-go as it has been speculated that he may have a clause in his deal that would stop him from coming north.

No matter who is available, Tom Ricketts could have some solid choices if the decides to make a move.

I don't like Ned Colletti's name being mentioned. Most of the Dodgers core were drafted by the former regime, and Colletti has a history of giving out bad deals to Jason Schmidt, Andruw Jones, and Juan Pierre.
