Bristol Palin says that despite the terrible decision she made giving it up to Levi Johnston while drunk in a tent, it was consensual all the way.

The topic came up on Good Morning America, with Bristol standing by the statement she makes in her book ... that Levi "stole" her virginity.

The eldest daughter of Sarah Palin gave it up when she was just 15. She says she used the word "stolen" because "that's what it felt like."

The book, entitled Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far, describes the big night. Bristol, after getting plowed on wine coolers, got ... y'know.

"I'm not accusing Levi of date rape, or rape at all," Bristol clarified. "But I am just looking back on this with the adult eyes I have now."

Now, she says, she's thinking "that was a foolish decision."

Ditto the rest of the times they slept together. While they said they wouldn't do it again until they got married, boning continued and son Tripp was spawned, after which Bristol hilariously became an abstinence advocate.
