Chicago, Friday, June 10, 2011.  Another blow-out weekend of fun, sun, music, art. food, fests and more as Chicago celebrates the Summer 2011.  Here are a few ideas to put you in the mood.

$1.50 Burgers...just like 40 years ago.
R. J. Grunts rolls their prices back to 1971 to celebrate the opening of the original Grunt in June of 1971.  Celebrate all day Friday, June 10 with the $1.50 burger of your choice.

Blues Fest...it's back.
Chicago Blues Festival--a survivor of recent Chicago fest slashings--returns this weekend to Grant Park.  Some of the top acts include Sanctified Grumblers (4:45p.m.Friday, Pepsi Front Porch Stage); Duwayne Burnside (3:30p.m., Saturday, Bud Light Crossroads Stage); John Primer (4:45p.m., Sunday, Front Porch Stage).  Free event, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, noon to 11p.m. Jackson Boulevard and Columbus Drive.

Wells Street Art Fair.
The 37th annual fine art showcase features a party vibe with live music and art. The music lineup includes 10,000 Maniacs (see below).  View the works of more than 250 juried artists with the eclectic mix running the gamut from paintings, sculptures and glasswork to photography, ceramics, woodwork and more.  N. Wells Street, between North Avenue and Division Street, donation $7 before 5p.m. and $10 after 5p.m. 10a.m. to 10p.m., Saturday and Sunday.

Old Town Art Fair.
A host of private parties plus the annual bash at St. Michael's are all part of the atmosphere surrounding the 62nd annual Old Town Art Fair.  The fair itself features live music, a food court, a children's corner, novelty booths, a garden walk and of course, ART. This juried art fair, considered one of the nation's best, features 260 artists with works in photography, glass, mixed media, painting, printmaking, ceramics,sculptures and more. 10a.m. to 6p.m., Enter at Lincoln Avenue and Wisconsin Street, $7 donation, Saturday and Sunday. 

Ribfest Chicago,
Ribs, glorious ribs--more than 40,000 pounds--plus other offerings including pizza and burgers. Expect lots of music on two stages and a rib-eating contest (register online to participate). Lincoln Ave., Damen Ave. and Irving Park Rd.  5-10p.m. Friday, noon to 10p.m., Saturday and Sunday.

Green City Market.
Shop for locally farmed and organic meats, fruits, vegetables, cheeses, honey, baked goods and more. The market also features chef demonstrations and kids' activities. Saturday, 7a.m. to 1-.m. Chicago Green City Market - 1750 N. Clark St. - Chicago (Lincoln Park).

Margaritaville.
Lincoln Park staple, Jack's Bar & Grill will be aglow with tiki torches and twinkle lights at Saturday's Margaritaville celebration--named after the song by you know who.  Patrons will be aglow with $5 Margaritas, Pina Coladas, Strawberry Daiquiris, $4 Mai Tais, $3 Coronas, $4 Victoria drafts, and $5 Patron shots.  Plus dig into their buffet featuring Corona-marinated beef and chicken fajitas, Mexican rice, pinto beans, corn chips, guacamole, and roasted corn salsa. Saturday,  2p.m. to 6p.m. 2856 N. Southport Ave.

On Sunday, Jack's presents it summer series, "Movies on the Patio." Free popcorn, $7 Bloody Mary Bar and $10 Bottomless Mimosas will be available at Sunday, June 12:  Dazed and Confused and Fast Times at Ridgemont High.  (773) 404-8400.

Andersonville Midsommarfest.
The 46th annual festival is expected to once again draw nearly 50,000 people to the Andersonville neighborhood.  The popular fest features two days of music, dancing, kids activities, artisan vendors, great food,  beverages plus a nod to Swedish traditions.. Clark St. from Foster to Catalpa. $5, 11a.m. to 10p.m., Saturday and Sunday, Foster Avenue and Clark Street - 5200 N. Clark St. 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.

World Naked Bike Ride Chicago.
This quasi kick-off to Chicago's bike week, part of the World Naked Bike Ride, is a protest of oil consumption and useless clothing that travels up to 20 miles across city streets. Saturday,  6 p.m., meet;  8 p.m. to 11 p.m., ride.
