As founder and proprietor of The Chicago Hall of Fame, I've made my semi-annual selection of five new enshrinees.  They are presented at the beginning of the picture gallery below.

To review the rules--

(1) "Chicago" includes the city, suburbs, and other such nearby areas.

(2) The person named must have made a major and long-lasting impact on Chicago, or have helped publicize Chicago to the wider world.

(3) The person named need not be a native of Chicago, but must have made his/her worthy contribution while living in Chicago.

(4) The person named must be dead at least 25 years.

When the money becomes available, the persons in the Chicago Hall of Fame will be memorialized in a unique form of public art.  We will produce double-life-size statues of all the immortals, then attach each statue to one of the sidewalk pillars of the downtown 'L' structure.
