If you like piggy and you haven't been to Smoke Daddy..you've been missing out on some porky goodness! When you walk into Smoke Daddy, you can smell the smokey fabulousness of those little dead oinkers! So, we take a seat and wait for our waters as my skin is melting off my body (First day of crazy balls hot heat in Chicago).
We then proceed to ask the waitress a simple question: what's the difference between the different types of ribs? (There's only 3 mind you) She responds:" Well,we just got a new menu. The St. Louis are more tender, fall off the bone, and the baby back...well they're a bit tougher...not that they're tough, and the the beef ribs..are made out of ...well beef" Then she calls over the bartender, and the show gets better with, 'well my favorite are the blah blah ribs" (In the words of my smart-ass friend, "Did you not have ribs before?")
The final act came when my friend asked for hand wipes, and she said "I think we may have some, let me check"???? WTF? You sell sloppy, juicy, BBQ sauce filled meat EVERYDAY!!! (As her day job;)
Seriously, the food was damn good even though I wasn't feeling to well (I still ate my pork later). Sorry, I just had to blog about this because all of us eating that day have worked/are working in the restaurant industry, and we've had people ask us shiot we don't have the answer to...Trick is: If you're going to make it up- be smart about it..Thanks;)
