Paul (1915-2009) pioneered the solid-body electric guitar and a slew of other musical inventions that were instrumental in paving the way for rock and roll as we know it and defining that sounds of the past half century.
In the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer's honor, Google replaced its go-to doodle with guitar strings you can strum - and you can even record your "songs"!
