Right off the bat, this movie just kicks ace. "X-Men: First Class" hopefully does for this franchise what "Batman Begins" did for the Caped Crusader.
The best part of this movie is it's villain, played by Kevin Bacon. You can NEVER have enough Kevin Bacon. What was my favorite part of him from this movie? I don't know, probably a tie, between all of them!
The action is top notch for a superhero movie. It's the type of action you can't get from a Batman movie, you know, because Batman doesn't have powers. He just holds the mantle of the bat, which gives him the special ability to lower his voice. Don't get me wrong, I love Bats.
The other great part of this movie: new characters. So sick of seeing Storm, Cyclops and even Wolverine. Yes, Wolverine is the most BORING superhero on the planet. No personality at all. How did they make a full movie about him? His story sucks. Even Peter Parker has a few funny moments during the course of his day. Logan? Nothing. He's just a sad, angry drunk.
