In New England, it's "one if by land, two if by sea." (And on the Patriots,Tom Brady to Wes Welker six if by air). At least that's what we were taught in school. You remember the story of Paul Revere from elementary school? That whole "the redcoats are coming" bit. Sarah Palin does not.

Or she remembers it as Revere somehow warning the British, instead of the American colonists. And what he was warning them about was our "freedom" (whatever that means in this context) and the second amendment guaranteeing our right to bear arms (even though the Constitution wasn't drafted until more than a decade after his ride.

Yes, indeed the summer lull for sports is really here, so let's fill it with more media gaffes and hilarious segments from the current events/news stories to compensate for the dearth in sports news.

That was funny wasn't it? Here's the quote again. Bells??? WTF? There were no bells, he was trying to get colonist militia ready, why would want/need bells?

During the '08 Presidential campaign, the funniest woman alive Tina Fey did her dead-on lampoon of the unintentionally funniest woman alive (Palin) by sometimes not even changing a word of her quotes. On SNL, Fey would literally just take Palin's understanding/explanation of economic issues. Her butchering was funny enough.

Palin isn't even running for president. Her bus tour is just attention-whoring, or trying to build up steam for a run at the Arizona senate. Although she denies the property she purchased in that state is for this purpose. We'll see. Either way, this is still funny.
