The anti-Libya drumbeat continues on the House floor as Rep. Dennis Kucinich, R-Ohio, has offered yet another amendment to defund the Libya operation.
This is to the defense spending bill.
The most recent Libya amendment was voted down yesterday, 229-199. Several other Libya efforts failed in the House last month.
The Chair of the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee, Bill Young, R-Fla., told Kucinich on the floor that he "is persistent" and expressed concern that Kucinich JUST introduced this amendment after multiple days of debate on this bill.
