Alef.
That's the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet and the name of Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied's baby boy. According to HollywoodLife, Portman, who was born in Israel, paid homage to her motherland in naming her son.
Alef was born in mid-June but the newborn's first-time parents reportedly kept his name under wraps until letting it slip on an Israeli talk show.
Between the meaning of his name - Alef represents the "oneness of God" and the element of air - he calls one of the most talented women in Hollywood "mom," and as a renowned choreographer, dad is no stiff either.
No pressure, little guy.
