A week after the former Friday Night Lights star was cast in G.I. Joe 2, this British actor has been named the key villain in the upcoming sequel. Stevenson (The Book of Eli, Thor) will reportedly take on the role of Firefly, a lead COBRA operative.
G.I. Joe 2 will be released next summer and also star Dwayne Johnson, Elodie Yung, DJ Cotrona, RZA, Channing Tatum, Ray Park and Byung Hun-lee.
The latter trio will reprise the role of Duke, Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow, respectively, from the original.
