Wait, there's someone who doesn't know who Kim Kardashian is? Maybe Edie Falco was just making a point, in which case, it worked.

In an interview with New York Magazine, the award-winning Sopranos and Nurse Jackie star discusses the "frightening" takeover of reality TV.

"Like, forgive me, I don't know if you're friends with her - but who the hell is Kim Kardashian?" she asks. "Like, who are these people and why are they famous and why are they advertising things and being asked their opinions about things?"

"I just don't understand what these people did to be in a position of having everyone always ask their opinions about stuff."

It is a fair point she raises.

As we saw yesterday with Khloe Kardashian's nip slip, these are people that do ridiculous things to get attention, then respond to whatever anyone else says about them in order to garner even more attention.

It's a vicious/pathetic/genius cycle. Cue Kim's response to Edie in 5 ... 4 ...
