What does a royal couple do when it rains? Probably what you did.

On Saturday, Prince William and Kate Middleton saw not one, but two films at their local branch of Cineworld in Llandudno Junction, about 35 miles outside Anglesey, Wales, where William is stationed as a search and rescue pilot.

The 29-year-olds contributed to the box office record totals of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, and also saw Bridesmaids.

Kate Middleton "was dressed casually, in jeans and a cardigan," an insider said. "They [each] had drinks, but shared a bag of popcorn."

While Harry Potter is a product of Brit J.K. Rowling and features big-name English stars, Bridesmaids topped the Duchess' must-see list.

At the July 9 BAFTA Brits to Watch bash in L.A., director Paul Feig joked with Kate that it's good she waited until after tying the knot:

"We were joking that it was a good thing she didn't see Bridesmaids before she got married, or she might have been a runaway bride!"

We're guessing she liked it. It's pretty darn funny.
