Chivalry is ALIVE and Well!

It's 2011, and I still believe that chivalry is alive.
While we no longer find men who throw their coats over puddles of water, or throw rocks in our windows to capture our attention, and yes, it would be nice if we still could be serenaded with love songs...but chivalry is still alive.

Before men would ask the parents before courting and wooing the women. There were six page love letters, that would linger in her mind for days.

Oh the days of courting!

We now live in a fast-pace, tech savvy social media driven society, still, chivalry is still very much alive and kicking. It just has been rebooted, reconstructed, reformed and in need of being rehabilitated. But it's definitely not dead.

In fact, I'm going on record to say that Shakespeare's sonnet's is still the reference to be used to do some serious courting.

Then compared to now may be very different but there are still examples of chivalry.
I know of one couple who sends love songs to one another via Facebook. I think that there are chivalrous men everywhere!

Based on my own experiences and observations, here are some ways I still see our beautiful men showcasing chivalrous acts.

There are still men who opens doors, will walk you to your car or to your door to make sure that you are safely inside. There are still men who pay for the first date, or at least offer. There are still men who walk on the outside of the curb, and kiss you on the cheek after a first date. There are men who still write love letters. There are guys who have a great sense of manners and would give up his jacket for you in a heartbeat! Yes, he's cold too and yes, she knows she should have brought her jacket, but the fact of the matter is that he is willing to sacrifice.

I know there are more acts of chivalry. Ladies, what else do you find chivalrous that men do nowadays?

And men, what things do you do for your lady to show her you're living proof that chivalry isn't dead?
