On this date eight years ago, great British producer Mickie Most dies at age sixty-four in London from mesothelioma. He produced hits for the Animals, Donovan, Brenda Lee, Herman's Hermits, Hot Chocolate, Lulu, and the Jeff Beck Group. Here is one of his Animals singles - their first:
