Beeronaut's Chicago beer events, May 31-June 2

Finally a chance to take a breather following Chicago Craft Beer Week, and the Memorial Day weekend, where this week's Monday events are, if you're looking. In fact, Fountainhead announced they'll be serving the beers leftover from CCBW starting Monday, chances are many other establishments might be doing the same.

Tuesday, May 31

8:00 p.m. .357 Imperial Pilz Tapping
Flossmoor Station Restaurant & Brewery, 1035 Sterling Ave., Flossmoor, IL (708) 957-BREW
Well we finally got the .357 Imperial Pilz to finish fermenting! It took a long while, but it still came out tasting great! It's got a healthy dose of alcohol at a warming 11.0% abv! It seems fitting for the schizo-weather that we're having to have such a light colored beer, more suting to warm weather, but at 11.0%, which lends more toward cold weather; that somehow seems to work right now! We'll be tapping the .357 Pilz at 7:00 p.m. for Mug Clubbers and at 8:00 p.m. behind the bar.
