It was a great trip, probably the best one ever.
May 18 to 22 Illinois Outdoors offered a great trip to Southern Illinois. We stayed at the Rend Lake resort who provided the lodging and dining for our group.
On Wednesday Night, we had our welcoming banquet where instead of doing our regular seminar segment, Ray Ludkevicz and I did a remote broadcast of the Fishing and Outdoor Radio Show. Before the audience we interviewed Gena Atchinson of the Rend Lake Resort, guide Jason Johns of Todd Gessner Outdoors, Mike Hooe of the Illinois DNR Fisheries, and guide Braydon Gibbs of RD Outdoors.
Our guests did a great job. Everyone learned about the resort and fishing in Rend and other nearby lakes.
Following that we had a great raffle with prizes from our sponsnors.
I was there for the whole week. I have photos attached here in the slide show to show you how the week went.
