And it may be their last....If rumors are true, this 16th annual Special Editions party at Playboy headquarters might've been the last and, indeed, this is exactly how the guests were partying! With a move to the West Coast pooh-poohed by PB execs, I have a feeling sentiments are different among staffers. In any case, on this night, you wouldn't have guessed anything might be amiss. Dozens of beautiful ladies, many already featured in Playboy's numerous special editions, dutifully and happily followed the suggestion on the invite, "Sexy Lingerie Attire Encouraged." With wonderful nibbles provided by, who else, Hooter's and with every manner of drink provided by The Joynt, this party rocked! I was lucky to bring along my hubby and stepson and they both agreed it was a jaw-dropping evening. The DJ, Philip Kane, kept the energy pumping and it was great seeing some of my old Playboy friends like Jeff Cohen, Pat Tomlinson and Stacy Collins among many others.
It sure would be sad to see Playboy leave Chicago and I hope it doesn't come to this. But, on this night, Hef was smiling from afar.....
